My First Blog

Hello blog world. I am a stay at home mom with a 2 year old and almost 1 year old. My husband is in school at NOBTS and we just celebrated our third anniversary yesterday actually. It was great. We went to a Chinese restaurant called Min Moon . . .amazing. Their sesame chicken is to die for. Than we went our for "frozen yogurt". Came home put the boys down for their nap and cuddled up in our bed and watched 27 dresses (he chose the movie)! It was a great relaxing day for us. We don't get those anymore. Or at least I don't. Being a NOBTS student means one thing . . . a life time of happiness in the perfect world of a Christian. HAHAHAHA!!!! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love being at NOBTS, and feel we are exactly where God has called us to be, but that does not mean our life is perfect, and that we never get sad or upset. Having Christ in your heart and life brings about a peace that can not be placed into words. This peace is what gets me through each day. With this peace I am able to smile when the bills come and there is no money in the bank account. Or when my 2 year draws with an ink pen all over my couch. Sorrow and pain were definitely felt in both of these scenarios, but with the peace of Christ I am able to chose to be happy and smile through the hard times because I know God has a bigger plan for my life.
